TCI is in sorry shape compared to other MSO's. Their decision some time ago to partner with 3com instead of Cisco led to their demise. Basically the 3com Headend gear does not work although their modems are ok. The Seattle area is but one sad example. This is just starting to change to CSCO even as I speak. Look for this to happen sooner rather than later as ATT loses more control over @home based on subs. Also, @homes new backbone will be operational shortly which is a big plus for the company. regards, n.p.
