Ahhhh...you see the big picture....
If you don't comply we bomb you. Unilateral war. Don't try to do anything "we" don't want you to do. "We" know best.

If the U.S. completely debased it's currency, it's value would skyrocket? Doubtful, but given the current market silliness, not impossible.

Oh, I see. In other words, as long as we have military superiority, you see nothing wrong with backing paper with bombs. You will have to forgive me, but for some reason, that does not make me feel comfortable or give me more faith in our monetary system at all.
