No Glenn, I don't remember asking you about your biz in the past...however I can understand why you're upset with e-tail in general. You keep talking about books being commodities, well, pretty much everything we buy except for services are commodities.

We will always buy from the cheapest place except in those instances we:

1)need service,

2)are buying quality

3)feel a personal affinity with the seller.

Some stores, including some online stores, offer all three.

There are probably more but those are what comes to mind right now.

My wife bought me a great Omega Speedmaster wristwatch for Christmas from an online e-tailer at a 40-45% discount. No one in town could match that price and only one store that we know of even had it in stock. The e-tailer, who also had an 800 number, shipped it out in 1 day. They were extremely helpful and friendly, too.
