Who said anything about drawing blood? Most cases can be dealt with on the phone and are very helpful. Radio talk shows with MDs have proven how popular it is to talk to a doctor. If it is anything serious he recommends that you go to a hospital.

So why interpose a 'net site? You should know that there are major efforts underway by healthcare regulatory agencies to characterize and define the role of non physicians in the delivery of healthcare, and the legal liability assumed by non physicians for misdiagnosis and failure to treat is substantial.

Your right, I unfortunately missed the CEO's comments. However, in my opinion, unless he is the health care CZAR appointed by the President to oversee sweeping and formidible change, he was not in a position to predict the final form " 'net medicine" will take. I am not saying such things absolutely will not happen but we are far too early in the process to identify the final solution.
