Potential BIG news for Patriot. Remember we are in the process of porting Wind River's VxWorks to the chip. Most interesting point IMHO was the fact that VxWorks was getting a large number of Java design wins. It looks like people are reluctant to use Sun Java and a Sun OS. Better to keep Sun at a distance and use VxWorks instead. I think I also heard Ron mention that IxWorks was also part of future I/O. Future I/O is the Compaq/HP/IBM competitor to NGIO.
