Ibm and HP have a broad range of mature business, Dell doesn't. So Ibm and HP could exit the pc business and still be in great shape, probably better shape than with the pc business. Under this situation, Dell would be in real trouble...assuming the perception became the reality.

Re:<<true or not doesn't matter, they have won this round and could have possibly slowed dells non-organic growth through m&a with increased dell stock price, and make the market question the organic expansion....>> did you mean "increased" or "decreased"...I believe decreased would be the case.
