DJ Investment Chief: Despite Net, Pencil Will Survive

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Despite the Internet's proliferation, there's one tool the technology won't be able to edge out - the venerable pencil, according to Jeffrey Bronchick, chief investment officer at Reed, Conner & Birdwell.

Appearing on CNBC Friday, Bronchick emphasized the values among small companies' stock including Hunt Corp. (HUN), a company which boasts an 80% market share in pencil sharpeners.

"The one thing the Internet won't put away is a pencil," Bronchick said.

His other small-cap picks were Horace Mann Educators Corp. (HMN) and Ucar International Inc. (UCR).
