A pullback of this magnitude suggests to me that something big must be in the works. Perhaps the big three are about to go online with the support of Microsoft.

Personally I doubt it. Usually the old dinosaurs do not change until they are being crushed by the new technology (see IBM for one).

But how else to explain such a sharp pullback (over 50% in the last month)?

i have done a chart correlations among abtl aweb amzn and aol on a daily chart...the correlation is VERY high. Thus, aweb and abtl had the bad luck to ipo in the wrong month, and now they have developed a "bad smell". It will go away...the street swings in 10-20 day cycles lately. I'm an investor until I see that abtl does NOT go up when amzn and aol go up when the time comes.
