I agree with you that for some postings, e.g., calling a price bottom, it seems incumbent upon the poster to actually post the price of his 'bottom'. Yet you and I see all the time where this is not done and only rarely when it is done. Do the bears who brag of shorting and covering generally give the prices for their actions? Of course not. So much of this is hindsight with a facade of bravado. All the more reason for price-stamping a posting.

And do I post a price when I call a bottom on a stock? I can't think of any time when I've been stupid enough or egotistical enough to say "this is IT". It only gives fuel to the flamers.
