Do they have the required number of shares tendered to complete the deal? Who is Georgeson anyway, and how do they know the merger will proceed?

I'm sticking to my principles. In this world of capitalism and greed, it's all I've got between me and Hell.

And if there was a better offer, preventing the GEC deal is the best way for shareholders to find out.

I just spoke to a friend of mine who works for an arbitrage firm.

His opinion is that even if there are lawsuits, they wouldn't prevent the merger from happening. And GEC has more money than FORE, so GEC is a better target for a lawsuit too.
