ACAI a complete overreaction> DULLES, Va. (CBS.MW) -- Shares of Atlantic Coast Airlines Holdings dived 26 percent Friday after a rating cut by BT Alex. Brown. BT Alex. Brown analyst Susan Donofrio downgraded the regional airline company's shares (ACAI: news, msgs) from "strong buy" to "buy." She also cut earnings estimates on the company, citing an industrywide airfare slide over the past few months. The analyst lowered Atlantic Coast's second-quarter earnings target to 51 cents from 65 cents and cut its full-year profit estimate to $1.70 from $1.98. The stock fell 6 1/16 to 16 15/16. The regional carrier has its hub at Washington-Dulles International Airport. It maintains a fleet of six regional jets and 61 turboprop aircraft that provide flights to about 45 cities in 19 states in the eastern United States. Atlantic Coast has an agreement with United Airlines and Lufthansa German Airlines to offer customers interairline connections, one-stop check-in on flights connecting the two airlines, and frequent-flyer membership privileges on United Airlines
