Hello Sonki. Yes, some of our tech stocks are taking it on the chin. Dell is looked upon as having disappointed the street by not exceeding estimates. Like I said earlier: How can you call a 41% growth rate disappointing? I think Intel will be alright despite money moving out of the stock. I don't know about this BRCM story. I still don't understand how cheaper modem prices will benefit the company. Isn't this supposedly the problem with cheaper cpts now? If this thinking is right, then Intel, Dell etc. should be soaring. But I guess that even if you give cpts away for free, you still need the chips and stuff that make it run. Same story with Brcm's modem chips. And Intel is now working with BRCM's stuff. And I hear that Csco will work with Brcm. Maybe that's the reason Brcm is going up. Anyhow, I am not in the stock right now. It had a nice move today. BTW, I am getting a bit nervous with all those free cpt give aways. Someone said today that Intel, Dell and ? were a screaming buy. Can't remember that third one. gg. Moneyflow. It did not flow into RNWK the last cpl of days. And it certainly did not flow into Amzn Thursday and Friday. Darn. This diluting offering. AOL is struggling a bit in Europe with all those free ISP's around. But it will be hard to copy their business model. I am sure, or at least I am hoping, that AOL will come out ahead in this controversy. I think they are starting to drop the long distance charges in England. Maybe business will pick up again. You can have a lot of free services but certain things you just can't get from free stuff. My grandchildren love AOL. AOL is great for kids. And those kids may grow up to be loyal to AOL. gg. WCOM. I don't care where the money flows to. I still think that WCOM is a great investment. I am hearing that they are interested in this Australian wireless company that Cable & Wireless? has a bid in for. PFE. I can't believe how this stock has gone down over 30%. I heard that in Scottland, or somewhere in that area, men who have problems will get 4 Viagra pills free per month. And WLA has a good pipeline and their Lipitor is the best selling chol.drug. And Merck is hanging in there. I refuse to buy those cyclicals. Our time will come again. For right now those analysts are peddling those stocks that have been left behind. gg. Investors will return to what works in the long run. And we all know that it is the techs and Pharmas that will survive. And a lot of cos on the net. And the telecoms will do alright also. Here is an article on some fav. net stocks this week. Yahoo is included. And I also own Vrsn. My Cnet has moved nicely. Going on to the NAZ 100 is a nice prestige for them. And stuff with NBC does not hurt either.cbs.marketwatch.com I think I will get off with this. I got in late and have been very busy getting things ready for all the kids coming in from Seattle and Fla. I actually had to do some painting on the outside of the house. Shutters etc. That did cut into my internet time. gg. I may find a bit more time on Sunday to get to the rest of the posts and PM's. Sonny PS. Just read the article myself again and noticed that WGAT got an upgrade. I bought it a cpl of days ago and it has not done much. Maybe this forecast of the stock more than doubling may make it move again. gg. I am surprised I have not received a margin call yet. AOL and some of those techs have brought my portfolio value down some. Time for those things to move again. Sigh.
