Well I'm a registered democrat ever since the evangelical values party took over the republicans (I used to be a registered republican) so I won't have a chance to vote for Liddy. However, on this same hardball show they said she was pro-choice and moderate on guns. Is that true do you know? Because if so, then I would vote for her given the chance. The choice issue is a deal breaker to me, I will not vote for any pro-life candidate. Guns are not so clear but I want someone who will stand up to these factions and guns are a biggie. (I am also in favor of restraining hollywood a little and would like to see Natural Born Killers get shelved so its not only guns I'm against).

The republicans have a new Social Security plan where some % of benefits becomes self directed.... where is Les, I wanted to ask about that - if that is a zero sum thing then I am for it. Also it needs Greenspan's ok.

I have noticed some of the flaws in Bush jr. are starting to show. My Dell friends never liked him and I never found out why. Overall they think he is weak. But he will probably still win which would be ok with me since he is not aligned with the far right.
