I've called a friend in Toronto to see if there really was an article in one of the newspapers today. When I hear back from him, I'll post a response.

Looks like there was no article..

I heard back from my buddy in Toronto. He picked up every newspaper and scanned them cover to cover. He couldn't find a thing. I don't know who started that rumour, but it was apparently bull. Anyways, this company will have to develop further before it gains exposure amongst the elite.
