Yes, that would be very good. Of course, you shouldn't count your chickens yet. There could easily be glitches ahead. Remember how the Pentium divide bug wasn't found until there had been millions of systems in the field for a long time. Problems like this can happen to anyone including AMD.

Slow K7 rampup will not be only due to manufacturing issues. AMD cannot afford to run the risk of switching their fab to K7 before they have extensive experience with it in the field.
