i cant imagine that michael dell and his people dont have vision enough to adapt to the future..it always blows my mind to think that the so called experts, analysts, tech writers, cnbc reporters, etc..seem to think they know more than the pc geniuses..these geniuses have billions of dollars tied up ...they have so much on the line..they had vision in the beginning...why does everyone think they have lost it ?...certainly many innovators do lose it..many companies such as iom, prst, centenial technology...were way over hyped and crashed and burned...but so many people in this business pre judge the great ones...dell has got it...and will probably keep it.. the problem with the dells is not pe..etc...its the nerousis of the manipulators..the market will trade anything that moves..trouble is dell is not moving now..instead..for the time being..its aol, yhoo,etc..if you have been around very long..you will remember periods when msft csco intc dell etc, traded flat for a long time..
and ibm was a dog..its not just dell..these stocks have moved and split more times than anyone thought imaginable..we all kicked ourselves for missing many of the monster moves..like 10 points in an hour.etc..well it will happen again..because these companies..like ibm, at&t, ge, gm...are one of a kind..they'll adapt and succeed..until they choose not to..but that is another story for another time..
