I believe the outcome will be negative on Monday. However, I also believe the management had stated (at last CC) that this case will ultimately take years to resolve and until then, the patent is enforceable and the company will continue to charge license fees. Today, I was amazed to see that even though the likely outcome of FTC case has been known for quite sometime, the stock took a dive on this "news" nonetheless. If anyone knows more detail or has different information from what I have, please post. On another note, if VISX can't collect license fees anymore, wouldn't BEAM has to drop its own license fees to compete? And the stock went up 10% today? What kind of market is this?
