'Why would EMC want to acquire STK? What do they have to offer?'

$2+ billion in revenue, plus an installed base in which to sell software &/or hardware to. STK does not compete directly with EMC, so it would be a relatively cheap way to add to its product line w/o the start-up costs.

STK at $50 / share doesn't make any sense, but STK at $20 is very compelling.
