April Mediametrix figures did not include Virtual Avenue , USAOL or IQC, so it'll be interesting to see how close we get once all the acquisitions are rolled in.

Regarding the users brought in by convergence, its more likely that smaller companies like Go2Net will attract this audience profitably. Dinosaur networks usually sink billions of dollars into failed attempts at attracting audience and then resort to taking over smaller successful innovators to keep them in business. There's considerable 'thrashing' of companies being taken and retaken over in this convergence area. These linkages are being made all the time, and the top20 web properties are the prime targets.
