You could be correct. I have had dividends projected to be credited
to my account before that I did not receive and I did not sell the
stock. It just quit trading (MIDLP. TNRG could be taken off the
market before June 30, 1999 in which case I probably would not get
the dividend, nor if I were to sell the stock, I probably would not
get the dividend. Every post I see about the dividend including PR's
I gloss over. When it is in my account, then I have it. Not before.
If I get it fine, if not I have lived a long time without it. That
may be my death knell or it may not be. I do agree with your line of
thinking regarding the ex date. John
