greg: love your story...its about how to do it in a fast changing world...I think YOU should write a book about what you just said...its a real lesson about paying attention to what is actually happening, rather than some love affair with what you think SHOULD happen...I'm going to print it out and frame it next to my laptop---to look at whenever I get lazy!!! ...btw what do you do with the old magazines? please tell me you don't save them......

Greg and All in the Thread This rumor about Dell and Gateway buying Mindspring What do you make of it assuming it would be true, would that be a plus for Dell........I wonder how could they compete with AOL and T and why would they be willing to bring Gateway with them unless there is a planed merger there... OT Greg, We have something in common besides cherry pie and Crystal Lake. Science News has been my favorite magazine for years, I get testy when it doesn't arrive early in the week and I have to find something else to read in the bathroom. <ggggg> Actually Analog is in a tie with Science News for favorite, Popular Science is good too. I quit taking Scientific American as I couldn't find time to get it read though I periodically <ggg> visit their web site. Science News has a web site too. sciencenews.org
