Not at all! I just feel that as long as 3Com is competing with Bill Gates for handheld platform dominance I wouldn't say that the battle is over.

I agree how much surfing will you do on a puny screen? I myself cannot stand to surf in 640*480 due to constant scrolling etc. all you need on a compact device is connectivity for data , email, stock quotes, news. I also think this article is a joke as something has to be sacrificed for a small compact device to remain that way. If you want more buy a laptop.
