That article fired an odd combinations of neurons in my brain.
The author strongly implied that the reason for AOL's recent decline is because of a lack of a convincing broadband strategy.
Personally I think thats bull, but what if it were true? AOL goes down because of fears it might lose to ATHM and ATHM goes down because the leader of the net sector (AOL) is going down.
It has happened before in other sectors.

Maybe we are all waiting for AOL to come up with good competition to @home before ATHM can go back up. GO AOL! AOL is AOL on steriods!
