Bill, good rap tonight. The Gateway info has to make you say, "hmmmm." I also have to wonder where these co. fit in the scheme of things on the Internet. IBM I can see due to their size and diversity. Dell due to the fact they've been on the net so long. HWP and Gateway? Don't get it yet. Compaq? They don't get it yet. <G>

Also, your note about 61% bulls is interesting. But I saw Mark Hulbert on CNBS this morning and he was saying that the newsletter writers were claiming they are bullish while their model portfolios are bearish. When he talks bearish, he is talking cash positions, not doing anything worthwhile. <g> Still, I wonder what it does to Insider ratios as indicators when the talk the talk but don't walk the walk?

Would you happen to have a URL for the Reuters story, or for the speech that Volker gave at the Credit Suisse First Boston meeting?

I guess it has already probably expired as a Reuter's release, but I would certainly enjoy reading the full text of the speech. I simply cannot find it anywhere.
