Yes, the size shown at the bid and ask is usually in round lots. But that does not mean that the size shown there was a block. The inside bid and ask accumulates all the orders. Ie. There could be three MM's with 100 round lots each plus Island with 50 and Instinet with another 50 at the ask and each of those could represent orders from many people that are at the inside ask.
