They may be for all I know.

But for non-brokerage customers, I doubt they'll do a thing.

Yet, the advice they spewed wasn't confidential information limited to their clients ... they broadcast it everywhere.

Unwitting though it may have been, the appearance is the entire Canadian brokerage community was in collusion with an incredibly unethical venture. The responsibility they incurred by lending their name to the scam was none less important than the same action by Kilbourne ... who is also getting off scott free.

It will be interesting to see if the class action suit in the U.S. will be so lenient. I would think there's a long arm treaty allowing the Canadian entities to be pulled in as defendants to that litigation.

BTW ... who was that analyst seen in the video tape jumping around with glee pointing at the gold in the core?

Did you read the latest about none of the brokerage houses were found at fault. Did you see how many of the same brokerage houses merged and changed ownership right after the sh.t hit the fan. Did you notice how Bre-X was blamed for most of the negativity about gold exploration and price of gold. Do you see what has happened to the price of gold since the time of BXM. The powers that control gold could not allow this company to put out that amt. of gold; gold would be at the price of copper. Is DeGuzman really dead. We know Walsh is. Felderhof is alive and as long as he doesn't leave his fortress he will be fine. Now also I have read that Federhof may not be found guilty. Did you see how Indonesia fell apart. Amongst the gold companies, do u see who is left standing.
