Actually I left out a couple of greats in the grandfather bit. My great.......granny was buried there in the 1600s. French trapper and his Indian wife. I still have the original ground they settled. It was officially given to the family in the 1800s for their help in the Mexican war. They sponsored the company that stole Santa Anna's wooden leg. The leg is now in Atlanta, Illinois. The official deeds are signed by presidents Polk and Taylor and I have them also.
