This statement is correct --- "If you own TNRG as of May 20th you are guaranteed TIPS" The date of May 17th and 20th don't count for a hill of beans anymore!!! As long as you still own them at the ex-div date, or you can buy TNRG any time before the new ex-div date ..If you buy TNRG next week and don't sell before the ex-div date,you will get TIPS shares. You could buy and sell TNRG 10 times before the ex-div date as long as you own them one day before the NEW ex-div date. Call Tilton 212-398-7833 cubby
