I copied the above from page one of the Osicom slide show on their website.

On George Gilder's thread he says that IP over WDM is the future and I agree. I also noticed that on slide 7 it shows DWDN works with Fibre Channel, which I think is important for tieing into the giant Fiber Channel storage farms that are starting to be built.
