SJS,

i have never written covered calls, so i'm not all that familiar with too many of the option trading strategies, but i do know enough about writing covered calls to get started. i just need to find a "comfort zone" but i also realize there will be times when my stock is called. that's okay as long as i'm taking in more than i'm "giving away."

i'm with waterhouse right now. the last time i checked, their option contracts were about $25 + $1.75/contract. that seems a bit steep. is it?

i really wish i had the $$$ to open a regular account and write/sell calls/puts. i'm just not to that point as an investor yet. but, that's my goal ... to get to that point.
