Elmer, FYI my prediction on the K7:

The K7 won't be much faster than the PII at business apps. For floating point, it may be 5-10% faster. The real advantage is that it should ramp nicely in MHz.

Our conversation was not about the bugginess of the K7 anyway. It was about your word games with Cirrus. Go back and read the posts. You represented that you COULD know the answers to those questions and that we were SPECULATING that you didn't My response is that you CAN'T know the answer to ALL those questions (although conceiably you could know the answer to SOME of them, even though I find it highly unlikely).

You're so hypersensitive about the K7 that you turn everything into a K7 rant. You must really be nervous about it!

Kevin

RE:"When I say the K7 is still buggy you have no idea
what information I have access to. How could you know? Some of us are under NDA
and actually keep our mouths shut. You assume that anyone who knows anything will
blab it here like a particular person we all know who is so infatuated with the K7 it proves
the saying that "love is blind". I may know far more that you suspect. You just can't
conceive of anyone keeping a secret."....

So you actually have a job now? Back with AMD? You are under NDA about the K7?
Sounds like a lot of Baloney to me.
