Uhm, I think Native Americans pretty universally had fire. (Except Eskimos. As we all know - you can't have your kayak and eat it, too.) The real question is whether they ate prairie dogs, and how. What's Sioux for "Hey gimme a dog - wit' everyt'ing!"?

Native Americans have never asked anyone to consider their culture any more special than any other.Just to be treated in an equal way. The Mexican Americans are allowed their Cinco de Mayo celebrations,African Americans are allowed to celebrate Kwaanza, so whar is your singular beef with Native Americans?

They would be very happy to hunt the way they used to but, the white man has killed most of the game and polluted its habitat. Also, they didn't eat raw meat until brought to the brink of starvation because of the slaughter of the buffalo for its hide while the rest of the carcus was left on the prairie to rot.

no regards (I don't think I like you)
