OT Fiscalfitness Thank you very much. Now I can understand why some people I know who saw the film when it was first released said it was a real tear-jerker at the end. Now that you have given me the gist of what Tom Hanks whispered, I can see what they meant and why Private Ryan was as emotional as he was at the end and why his whole family felt they had to come with him to visit Miller's grave. Really, thank you. The beginning and end are much more comprehensible and definitely more powerful--a lot more powerful-- now. What a burden to carry throughout one's life. Good night. Regards, Lynn
