Gottfried, that's a good chart. It's tougher to see the slight dips in 1993 and 1995 because the price is split adjusted. What do you think of the correlation?

Clearly, the optimists on this thread did not prevail for this month. Following are the predictions that we made a few weeks ago.

Paul.............36
Michael Bakunin..46
FLSTF97..........48.5
Gottfried........49
William..........57
Kearney..........59 ...clear winner...closing price...59 9/16
Sun Tzu..........61
Jerome...........62
William Griffin..65
Brian Kerecz.....65
Larry Cascade....69
Stephan..........71
Jeffery D........72
Morebull.........72
Rob C............75

Without a doubt Mr. Kearney was using the new 300mm crystal ball that has been discussed extensively on this thread. The implications are enormous. Why spend all the time debating the significance or insignificance of historical data. Henceforth we will have Mr. Kearney
give his prediction a few weeks before options expire and that will be that. Whats the point of pulling up charts and spreadsheets when one savant can do it all?

Good work Mr. Kearney.

Jerome

Gottfried, Mike, maybe this Jan-Dec chart for 7 years helps...

Since we have seen that the Orders for the SEMI's appear to be the driving factor for price increases. Is it possible to do a comparison between AMAT's prices against their order on a chart--that is if we have the data? The BTB is what we are using now but I was wondering whether the Orders and/or shipment data would refine or timing and/or give us additional data.

Just trying to improve our systems.<gg>
