He said that the design looks highly scalable and that the team was taking K7 very seriously.

Their views are like everyone else's, which is basically "Let's see how well AMD executes." As for my bosses, they do take the K7 seriously. I think a lot of guys up top are bracing for the worst-case scenarios, not because it's likely, but because it's possible. Just your normal paranoia at work. Tenchusatsu
