this is the nauture of high tech stocks..............

happens in biotech, happens in networking (i rememeber cisco getting cut in 1/2 just a couple years ago), happens in the internet all the time, and it happens here.

if you find this uncomfortable you might want to try mutual funds--they are less volatile than the market--or buy pfe, wla, sgp etc. (check the charts) because they not very volatile.

but if you want to invest in fast growing, risky companies this is the way it goes. most of us will use this to our advantage--buying MORE the MORE it drops.

i know that in 1-2 years i will think "why didn't i buy more."

this company has a very rich pipeline, with drugs that are more likely to get FDA nod than the average company, cost of bringing them to market is less, and they are know entities (sort of). once this company has a low beta you will find the profit potential much lower.

steven, if the stock acts as well as you write, we'll be back in business in no time.

>>Sitting here alone, reading through the posts, trying to figure out what happened, it feels as though I'm wandering through a civil war battlefield in the slanting, dawn light filtering through the stand of birch and maple. The cannon and musket smoke still drift heavily over the hills scarred with bodies strewn in haywire fashion, stinging the nostrils, disbelieving.<<

Well, I survived the battle, but now I've fallen down the stairs in the VA hospital.
