Duct, thanks for bringing this Cal Mike issue to the board. I'm not well versed at this time on the technical integrity of their approach in the last mile, as you suggest. I shall have to look at it some more. Maybe we'll get some help here from the others who are more enlightened in wireless.

I've always envisioned MFNX doing some extensive work into residentials, under the auspices of some other player. Right now it's not in MFNX's mission to do so as a retailer of services, to the best of my knowledge. They continue to be, instead, a deployer of massive amounts of fiber on high density routes and heavily stacked business districts, selling their capacity to other carriers as a means of being a carrier's carrier at the fiber-optic strand (and increasingly, the wavelength) levels.

The topology you've described, however, is not dissimilar to ones we've discussed here in the past. Interesting. Thanks again. Anyone care to add to this?
