LG and all,

I like to follow the indicators on

marketgauge.com

do I find them helpful? Kinda/sorta/sometimes/somewhat. I find it interesting that mutual fund cash levels are very low -- a bearish sign, natch.

I also follow the "Specialists Short Position % Change," on the URL above, which I've heard is a accurate predictor of where the market is headed. But...in the months that I've followed it, it hasn't seemed particularly accurate to me, despite the fact that it makes sense that it should be.

I'd welcome any comments on this page, the various indicators, anyone's overall take on the "quality" of this info, etc.

Thanks, as always, for everyone's great posts

doug

ps -- I keep thinking "Why don't I just short DIA, go long MDY and -- barring any BK -- just relax for a month or so?" Any comments on that? :-)
