I find it suprising to the point where I believe there's a mistake in these numbers - the V3 3000 was outsold by all these cards in April? every store I went to was old out on the 3000 and some had the 2000 in stock. I think somebody at TDFX should be looking into this. Joe C.

I would also have to suggest that there is something wrong with the posted PCData numbers. The may 10 press release stated:

According to PC Data, which measured retail sales of the entire video card market for the first three weeks of April, the Voodoo3 3000 AGP was the No. 1 selling board in terms of both unit shipments and revenues. The Voodoo3 2000 PCI was ranked second, and the Voodoo3 2000 AGP was ranked third.

I have a hard time seeing the V3 3000 completely disappearing off the chart. Somethings rotten in the state of Denmark...

Besides, Maximumpc has been extremely anti-3dfx ever since Boot magazine was sold. Boot was a friend, Maximum is clearly a foe.
