Even if I disagree with it, the opinion of those who support the prolongation of NATO's action need to be respected.

That's pretty much my position. I'm sorry that we found ourselves in the position where all we could resort to was bombing, but once it starts, WE, NOT MILO, have to make the final determination as to when it will end.

I'm realistic about the fact that we can't limit collateral damage when we're dropping one ton bombs using a laser beam (which can be misled by smoke and clouds interfering with the laser designator).

In fact, I think the air force is doing an amazing job being as accurate as they have been.

But Milo brought us to this brink and has been doing it for years. It was time to call his bluff and make him back down.

Btw, Ramsey Clark is forming an anti-war demonstration in DC today. They're planning on marching from Dupont Circle down to the White House. We're going into town for the Chili Cookoff festival, but I'm going to try to sneak over to 1600 Penn and see how many people show up and what they say.

Also, there was a demonstration in Montenegro yesterday. Watch this situation closely. Montenegro, EVEN MORE than Kosovo, is the actual heartland of Serbia. They want independence from Milo/Serbia. Kosovo is where the Serb nation fought a battle with the Turks, but Montenegro is where their nation began.

Regards,

Ron
