Patrick, what makes you say 'I am waiting to see what they are going to do in the fibre channel area, and who they will team up with'? They have SANs now that support fibre channel connectivity. The one below, I think, would be classified as a SAN. I'll look more later, have to run now. I also heard Ruettgers on CNBC back in March touting fibre channel connected storage as a hot new product. Another piece is that EMC is reselling McData fibre channel, actually, fiber anything, switches: An EMC Enterprise Storage Network™ makes it possible to turn information from even the most far-flung department to the competitive service of your organization. Now The EMC Effect™ is hard at work everywhere you are, enabling you to raise your corporate vision, execute that vision, and lift your entire organization to higher levels of growth and profit- ability. ESN takes the value of EMC Symmetrix® Enterprise Storage to a new level by functioning as a single pool of storage that handles the entire information storage requirements of even the largest, most complex organizations.
