To All,

Here is a nice chart of the OSX that is available every few days to non- subcribers.

securitytrader.com

I get 72.5 now forming a base from last Nov. and the end of Mar. up from the previous base of 61.5 from the first of Jan. and first of April. Following strictly the channel pattern of higher highs and higher lows we could see the OSX at 120 by the end of July with a subsequent retrace to the 91.5 area. If OPEC is correct,120 is certainly doable. This of course assumes the uptrend continues, if not, at least we have a higher base.

EW Update---Big Picture is that from the 70ish low last week we are now embarked on EITHER wave (v) of 5 of the entire 5w wave sequence which started from 47 on Mar 1st--in which case after its completion at a new high for the move, we will likely retrace back to 65-70ish again....OR..We ended the 5 wave sequence at 81ish and the retrace to sub70 was a Wave 2 and we are now in the early stages of Wave 3 in a power move beyond 103 with relatively small retraces along the way and once past at least 103 any larger retrace will base out above the 'old' 81ish peak and then resume up again....Under either alternative, we should take out on this move the 81ish peak.... My trading software shows that the next resistance area from here is now 84-85 (ie 81ish will fall)...Until we get near there, we won't 'know' which of the above alternatives will play out--If it blasts through 85ish on heavy volume, we are then likely going past 103, whereas if we turn back from the 84-85ish area, we are likely operating under the first alternative which involves retracing back to the 65-70ish area again (after which of course we should then start the real power move up into the 100's)....fwiw, my suspicion is that Alternative 1 will win out and that the current move up is (v) of 5 with a target near 84...my 2c
