hey wily,

is the good price on 97 because 2000 is on the way? is price important to you? how much will 2000 cost you? are you aware of the changes made to 2000 over and above 97? are they changes you could do without? is there an inexpensive 'upgrade to 2000' offer that might come with 97? are you the type of guy who wants to have the most recent version of everything? just some suggestions on questions you should be asking yourself.

:)

I ordered Office97 the end of February and it arrived the first week of March with a coupon for a 'Free' upgrade to Office 2000 when available. (Small Business Edition)

I've seen it advertised with the coupon for a few months now.

Does yours come with the 'Offer?'

Cheers, PW.

OOPS! Looks like you have your answer ... I should read replies before posting.

wily:

I recently bought Office 97, delivered to my door, for a total cost of $29. Does do not include free upgrade to 2000.
