I read a good article in Newsweek a couple of weeks ago which stated that the current Native Americans are not necessarily the descendants of the original Native Americans.

Based on skull measurements from skulls found in N. Carolina it seems that the Europeans and Polynesians arrived here 4,000 years ahead of the bunch that crossed the Bering strait 11,000 years ago. The author stated that the Americas were a virtual melting pot 15,000 years ago.

Present day Native Americans of course do not want to hear this.
