Hummmm? The computer pie is getting smaller as smart young hungry
bucks think up a better mouse traps and get their cut. I was
listening to a discussion on CNBC the other day FREE computer boxes
(from Korea) that some company is giving away if people subscribe for
three years of internet services and watch a few banner type promos.
I don't think these are normal computers like we know them.

Then, there is WEB-TV finally to take hold. Bill Gates dropped a ton
of money on WEB-TV and now the massive AOL is getting on the stick.

And finally, there are $599 computer workstations that are becoming
much more common place. You can slap a box together real cheap from
Ebay auctions. I don't think DELL will have an easy time growing as
fast as it has in the past.

Hey, I own both a DELL laptop and use a DELL desktop computer. Top
notch equipment that is well made. I have mix feelings about their
servers since ours has been down quite alot with bizarre motherboard
problems that DELL replaces right away. It sure does not help when we
are trying to meet deadlines and our network is sucking wind. :-(

In summary, be careful and keep an eye on the charts.
