Colin, Additionally, you can include a window in multiple layouts so if you have a "core" layout that you use and have other level-1 windows (or whatever) that you like to switch between frequently, you can take the core layout, add in the additional windows, and save it. You can then do it again with a different additional window and save it to a different layout name. This way, all of these layouts are easily and quickly accessible via the LAYOUT menu on the menu bar. JL
