Well thats not all thats exciting to do here- I can mow 5 acres,
build up the compost heap. Plant gourds and radishes. Put in a new axe handle.
Have also re-computed Dells year-end price as being less than $100 unless the usual miracle happens or some shareholders approve the 7 bil share stock authorization in July. I wonder what Mr dell is planning to do with the 1 mm sq.ft of construction this year? Thats only about 23 acres 'under glass', or the equivalent of 2500 Dunkin Donut shops. I guess we have to wait now

Ian, look at two additional factors: Dell's operating income grew by only 0.9% sequentially while net income grew by 2.1% because Dell's cash position ballooned during the quarter. That was because Dell did not buy back as many shares as had been anticipated.

In other words, I suspect that most analysts were looking for less interest income and more operating income. I was.
