How are you people going to short a stock with 2 million float. You will be at the mercy of day traders and fund managers. Think about it, it does not take much to move this stock another 10-15 points, a minor short squeeze will make this company move to $40-$50 range. Just be carful with shorting a low float company. >

Very good point.
The only thing I'd really worry about is a short who accumulated
a sizeable amount of stock on Friday.
In that scenario, the stock will move up a point or two at the open,
the short takes his position, and then dumps a big chunk to get
the slide going.
Then, they dump more chunks as the stock recovers, forcing the price lower.
So...who's holding the big cards ???
There was HUGE volume in this stock on Friday.
Someone could have accumulated a whole bunch.

Brasco, /kl1b, and the other shorts: How much are you guys holding ??

telebob,

This organized short squeeze thing is over-rated. MEDJ ran up to over 7 and was shorted HEAVILY by many daytraders. It only has a 300K float. Squeeze didn't happen. For a hedge fund to try to cause a squeeze would be a big gamble on their part as they would have to buy heavy at 27 to 30 ish?. Heck, forget the hedge funds, MM's would be better at setting off a short squeeze.. but it has hardly ever happened on the stocks I play. Cheers, Not Howie/genejockey
