'Fear and Loathing at the Ky. Derby' was a magazine article from Rolling Stone, probably. I read the story in 'The Great Shark Hunt', a collection of Thompson's magazine stories. Of course 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' is the gonzo standard by whick all his other works are measured. <g>
