I suspect they'll be taking at least some of that money and "investing it" to comfortably position themselves for the next "upgrade cycle."

uncle, well once they have "excess" cash, they should do like the rest of corporate America, buy back their own share, it is a tax free dividend to those that do not sell (VBG). Of course, in practice, they give themselves a bunch of options, but then, that is the American way. (VBG).
